Philip Chiles

Philip Chiles was born and raised in Springfield, IL. After graduating from high school he spent four years in the US Marines including a year in Vietnam. Phil graduated from Lincoln Land Community College and the University of Illinois Springfield. He attained his Masters of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary in 1989. Phil's life has been one of serving others. He served his country as a Marine; he served the underserved in Africa as a missionary; he served as a church pastor. Phil has been an active participant in Habitat for Humanity and has served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He has also served his profession, serving on many committees and as President of the Capital Area Realtors in 2007-2008 and as President of the Illinois Realtors in 2014. He also served as Capital Township Trustee from 2009-2016. Phil has been an active Realtor for since 2000. He is licensed in Illinois and Florida. Phil prides himself on his outstanding service to his clients. He is an expert in real estate, he is extremely knowledgeable about the Springfield area and his goal is to make the buying and selling process easy and smooth for his clients. Phil has received many awards including Capital Area Realtor of the Year in 2011, RPAC Hall of Fame in 2017 and the Capital Area Community Service Award in 2018. Phil and his wife, Peggy have been married for 56 years. They have three children, five grandchildren and 2 great -grandchildren.
