We worked with Peter on both buying and selling our Capitol Hill property and were overwhelmingly pleased both times. From pre-sale preparation of our property to a quick and successful sale, Peter was with us all the way! Six months prior to selling our home, Peter toured the property, offered a strategy for optimal sale, and helped us implement the plan. Peter leveraged his wide network of real estate contacts to help us get our home in tip-top shape. Our collective hard work paid off when our house sold in ONE DAY for FULL ASKING PRICE, no contingencies, and with a 30 day close. All of this happened in the Spring of 2020 just on the cusp of the global pandemic shut down. Despite the obstacles, Peter got us to closing on time! We can't thank him enough for his hard work! My experience with Peter Grimm was great! His knowledge of the Washington DC real estate market and specifically the Capitol Hill neighborhood were unparalleled. He is a straight shooter who truly helps you with the home buying process. He taught me what to look for in the house regarding the condition of the house and also what questions i should ask so that i can be as informed and comfortable as possible with the decision i was making. As a first time homebuyer his help and his knowledge and confidence about the house, the neighborhood, and the market in general was immense. His knowledge of the prices in the neighborhood and what was a good deal or a good offer is why I own a home now. Overall good guy, whose knows his stuff, is not pretentious, and uses zero pressure tactics.

Peter helped me sell my first house, and helped me buy my next. I couldn't have been happier! He has a solid hand on the market, and an amazing network that helped me through every step (from last minute roof repair during inspection) to great contacts in financing and with other agents. On selling, he gave great advice for preparing myself and my house to get on the market. Once listed, it was under contract within days, and a price at the top end of my expectations! When buying, I had a clear idea what I was looking for - from location boundaries, to rooms and features, and condition - and I got my wishlist (and then some!). My house has been a stellar investment, but most importantly, it's a wonderful home! Peter is amazing - I'd choose him again in a heartbeat. I only (sort of wish) that I could buy or sell my house more often!

I knew Peter for years (before he became a real estate guru on The Hill) and he was the only person I thought to call when I was ready to buy my first place in June, 2010. I had rented on Capitol Hill for over 15 years and did not want to move to the suburbs. Peter made the daunting process easy and answered all of my questions, which there were many. Each property he showed me met my preferences for location, size and budget. When I found my condo, I asked why it was still on the market and he said "because it was waiting for you". I closed within 3 weeks of making my offer. Peter also put me in touch with the company/person who took care of my mortgage, and he in turn put me in touch with the person who still does my taxes. All located on Capitol Hill...it really made me feel as if I was living in a small town. I've been in my place now for over 5 years and still love it...even better that it has increased in value and was a wise investment. If I were to ever move, Peter would be the first person I'd call. I'm so happy to have him as my realtor and even happier to have him as a friend.
