In 1980 I started working with a builder, Cliff Zarsky of Texan Homes, selling his new construction homes in the Calallen area of Corpus Christi. the builder liked me so much he hired me to manage all his rental properties.

I took real estate law courses at Del Mar college, those were credit courses, not non-credit. I taught real estate contracts at the Del Mar College non-credit course classes. In 1999 I obtained my mortgage brokers' license; I worked with Apex Lending as a licensed Mortgage Broker from 1999 to 2007.
