Who Am I? What Am I About? I'm never sure what kind of information visitors might like to know about me.

This page could be very long...after all, I've lived quite a few years (do I have to reveal my age?). I've done a lot of things, had a lot of experiences (and a lot of fun!), and have taken a varied path to this point in my life.

It's a little self-indulgent to tell you "about Pamela Young," but I hope you will indulge me and realize that many people want to know at least a little personal history about someone they may be considering for their Realtor.

So, here's a short story...about Pamela Young (you can call me Pam).

I was born in Abington, PA and raised in Chester County. As a young girl, I quickly learned to use my legs for speed. With three older brothers, I had plenty of reasons to be "fleet of foot."

I attended high school at Linden Hall School for Girls in Lititz, PA. It was during those years that I truly fell in love with Lancaster and Lancaster County. After Linden Hall, I attended the University of Miami, Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.

Subsequent to graduation from the University of Miami, I founded my own graphic design firm and developed a client list that included several Miami restaurants and the Buenos Aires Zoo.

After moving back to the Northeast, I worked as Art Director for a large Philadelphia specialty advertising company, as Marketing Director for a video production company, and as Director of Sales for a Philadelphia personnel placement agency.

In 1990, my husband and I founded a computer brokerage company and in 2001 incorporated a new food distribution company.

I am a Realtor with RE/MAX SmartHub Realty - a local company with impeccable credentials and a reputation for exceptional service. I am privileged to work with a talented group of professionals who provide support for every client need.

I have earned the following real estate designations:

ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative
ASP - Accredited Staging Professional CRS - Certified Residential Specialist
e-Pro - E-Professional - skilled in web/internet marketing
SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist

I have also earned numerous sales awards, most recently the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award and am a member of the RE/MAX Platinum Club.

My real estate business is built on the principles of honesty, integrity, hard work and communication.

Those principals have yielded tremendous results. With award-winning sales achievements every year, I now rank in the top 4 percent of all Realtors in Lancaster County.
