ZillowVERIFIEDPamela Braswell helped sell my home in North Carolina during a separation and divorce. She came recommended through my ex-husband and his coworkers. While nothing specifically aEURoebadaEUR? happened in the process, I would consider her an average realtor and my overall experience felt somewhat underwhelming. To her credit, Pam handled the no-contact situation between my ex-husband and me professionally, and she did generally respond to calls and texts in a timely manner. She also conducted a video walk-through early on and gave helpful feedback about what needed to be done before listing. She answered most of my questions about pricing and process clearly. However, once the house was actually ready to go on the market, I felt she did very little beyond the basics. There was no final walkthrough before listing, and I discovered six months later that my ex had left trash and junk around the propertyaEUR"something she was completely unaware of. When I asked what she was doing to actively market the house, her response was essentially that it was listed on the usual sites, with no additional strategy or effort to attract buyers. I didnt feel she went above and beyond in any way to get the home sold. Communication also felt one-sided. I was usually the one checking in for updates, and it often seemed like my ex-husband and I were directing the next steps rather than receiving guidance from her. While the listing did go live shortly after Hurricane Helene (which understandably affected timing), it still took nearly a full year to sellaEUR"and we received an offer just three days before the contract with her expired. Having worked with several realtors before, the difference in service level compared to others Ive hired was noticeable. Overall, Pam was not terrible by any means, but she did the bare minimum, and I wouldnt personally choose to work with her again.
