Oscar Hernandez, founder of The Advisory Real Estate + Development and Team Leader of The Oscar Fine Properties Team, has been a Houston real estate leader since 2002. A Houston native, Oscar graduated from the prestigious Rice University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics before heading to Wall Street, where he had an eight-year career as an equity research analyst focused on the oil and gas industry. He entered the real estate industry after he'd moved back to Houston, when a former colleague sought his advice on the purchase of four Inner Loop properties. Oscar was the point person during the life of his friend's investment; assisting with occupancy, improvements and, eventually, divestment. In many ways, Oscar's background as a financial analyst defines his approach to real estate. He views every purchase and sale through an investment lens. He specializes in using short and long-term trend analyses to determine a property's current and potential resale value alongside in-depth market knowledge to guide his clients through the intricacies of real estate transactions. Oscar is also known for his creative marketing strategies and events - from open houses, to soiree's to client appreciation parties - and he has been creating and utilizing personalized, professional HD video to tell the story of each client's home since 2008. Oscar focuses primarily on helping people take advantage of Houston's luxury market but believes in providing a luxury experience at every price point.
