Nikunj "Nikki" Shah learned one of life's most important lessons while watching his parents helping others: If you're good to others, the rest will follow. Nikki and his family first made the trek from India to the States shortly after he finished high school. Those beginning years were fraught with the traditional hardships associated with moving to a new country. Learning new customs, refining language skills and trying to survive economically just to name a few obstacles. But despite these challenges, Nikki's parents persevered and taught Nikki to do the same. "Never give up," Nikki's father used to say. Although his father passed away in 2004, Nikki remembers what he taught him. For Nikki, Karma is more than a philosophy, it's a way of life. He also attended the Fox School of Business at Temple University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. This was quite an achievement because, unlike most traditional students, Nikki owned two Subway franchise businesses and worked to keep them running successfully while attending classes full-time. Operating a business just seemed to come naturally to him. His colleagues and even his professors nicknamed him "Mr. Calculator" because of his math and entrepreneurial skills. Nikki's entrepreneurial affinity began when he was just 15 years old in India. He started a small business marketing and selling imported candies to local convenience stores. Since then, he has achieved high levels of success in the field of restaurant, business, tax and mortgage consultation. But where he found his true calling was in real estate and commercial investments.
