About Nick Gelfand

I am extremely passionate about my profession. My focus since day one has been to become an expert in this field. Being an expert, I think, is the most important attribute I could have for my clients. I realized that being an expert in any field is never-ending. You constantly need to continue to dedicate yourself to the profession in many different ways. Luckily I love what I do and that makes it feel effortless. In addition to being a licensed Real Estate Broker in MA and CT, I hold a MA Real Estate Appraisal License and have experienced in flipping houses, being a landlord and many other aspects of the real estate field. Community involvement is important to me and I have served on several local non-profit boards over the years. I always want to be part of the solution and not the problem. In 2011 I was honored as one of the recipients of the 40 under 40 award from BusinessWest, the Business Journal of Western Mass.

As first time home buyers, we could not have asked for a better person than Nick to guide us through the buying process and, ultimately, help us close on what we consider to be our perfect home. Nick took the time to educate us the housing market, costs associated with closing on and owning a home, local laws, and anything else that first time home buyers might not otherwise be aware of.
