FAQ
If you're looking to buy a home, contact a local real estate agent that is familiar with the area you're Interested in. Having an agent that knows the area can help drastically. Speak with that agent before you start shopping yourself. The added benefits of having an agent working for you from start is tremendous.
If you're trying to sell your home, I like to tell my clients to follow the rule of 3. Speak with 3 different agents, and ask them to give a Comparative Market Analysis. The agent that does the most detailed work, and goes the extra mile is the agent you want. The right agent can make or break a deal, trust your gut.
I've worked with a variety of different clients. When I first speak with my clients, I inform them my of goal. Within 30 - 60 days to make sure you have a new set of keys in your hand.
Recently I closed on an investment property. My client was very polite, knew what he wanted, and most importantly, allowed me to do my job as a realtor without stepping in.
At the end of the day, my job is to get you the best possible deal for that listings. Allowing your agent freedom to do their job to the fullest will result in the best possible outcome. From a clients perspective, that can be difficult to do. Some clients want to be a part of the deal as much as they can, which is understandable. By doing that, it may be counter productive. My client allowed me this freedom, and as a result we closed on the home in 30 days.
I got started in real estate through a friends recommendation. I was serving at a restaurant in Point Pleasant when one of my co worker, who was also a realtor, said i should try to become one. I've always been a people person. I enjoy interacting with others, and just talking to them. Having that natural skill makes for the best realtors.
