About Nicholas Blau

Nicholas grew up in a small rural town in Iowa and attended Iowa State University where he obtained his degree in hotel and restaurant management. After graduation Nicholas spent 19 years working in hotel management and property management before real estate. When Nicholas isn't working real estate he is passionate about giving his time to his church, non-profit and school organizations, and spending time with his wife Ashley and their 7 kids, Elise, Jay, Jeshuah, Jack, Eliana, Jubilee, and Adoniah. He loves to participate in the kids' different activities, particularly coaching little league baseball. There is no shortage of opportunity for him to serve! Nicholas enjoys working on projects around the house and taking his family fishing and camping. He is also a diehard fan of the Minnesota Vikings and his Cyclones in basketball and football. Working with Nicholas was a completely amazing experience. From the first phone call to the closing, he made himself available at any time day or night. He was so responsive and went above and beyond what any agent has to do. I worked with Nicholas long distance, he took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and found the perfect home for my family. He took the extra time of conducting zoom showings, as I was not available to look at the homes. From my initial call with Nicholas to having an accepted offer was only about 20 days and the entire time, he went out of his way to take time away from his family to write a late night offer, assist me with finding a lender to approve me for financing during the weekend, and he was so trustworthy I never had any doubt that he had my best interest at heart. My experience with Nicholas was something I will not forget, and I will be forever grateful to him for everything he did in finding me the perfect house in an amazing neighborhood. Nicholas even went above and beyond to assist me with finding me the perfect agent in my home town who was able to sell my house in one day to ensure that this whole process occurred and my daughter and I are able to celebrate the holiday season in our new home.

Nicholas was an amazing realtor! He always responded quickly to our messages and was quick to set up appointments for us to view homes. He understood what we were looking for in a house and always reached out when he saw homes that would fit our wants and always found more info and set up viewings for houses we sent him. He was very nice and honest. Told us the good and bad on different houses. He answered all of our questions and did a great job at explaining everything to us. When we are in the market for our next home we would definitely go to Nicholas again!
