Interview 2-4 realtors and make sure that you find one you like and want to work with. Once you find that one, stick with them unless you have a major problem. Don't turn your back on the one you picked to work with. We as agents make commissions so unless we get you into a new home we don't make any money. Respect our time and effort.

If you liked the agent who helped you buy your house, and if they are still an active agent, use them again. 90+% of people like their agent and say they will use them again, but less than 10% do. Now, if your agent is not active anymore, you can still call them and ask them for a recommendation. If you can not contact them, than just call me and I'll help you out.

First-time buyers, downsizing, investors, people moving out of state.

I worked with a family with kids and helped them get out of an expensive rental and into a home where they have more room and are paying less for the house than the rent they had been paying. They were very appreciative of my work, and they are great people.

My realtor, who helped me buy my first house, told me I should get my license. She said, "You would be great at this job because you care about people, which is needed in this industry." After three years of thinking about it, I followed that advice, got my PA license, and then later my NJ, and it was one of the best pieces of advice I ever received.

I have two additional certifications in real estate outside of my two state licenses: I am a PA notary, and I have a certification as a loan signing agent. I also have 15+ years of customer service and management experience, mostly in retail, so I know how to talk with people, deal with problems, and find a solution to the problem.
