I've worked with young couples as first time buyers needing as much concessions as possible for their down payment. I've helped a woman in her fifties who thought she could never own a home and now she does. I watched a woman almost cry at closing because she thought it was all a dream and would never happen. That smile and hug was the most rewarding gift. I've worked with couples who are upgrading the size of their home as they have more children. I've worked with retired cash buyers who loved the home and wanted it no matter what. I helped to make it happen by negotiating a winning the bid against seven other offers. I've had every kind of client you could have and I enjoyed every single one of them.
I specifically enjoy helping people buy their first home. I've had many clients that never thought they could own their own home. I had one young couple that found a gorgeous and massive 1848 farm house that they instantly fell in love with. The home had originally listed for $230,000 and had dropped to $200,000. I negotiated an agreement of $179,000 after 3% concessions to go closing costs. With the help of my wonderful Lender Sarina Leese at Legacy Mortgage, we were able to get $10,000 MSHDA backed loan. They only needed to bring $350 to closing as their down payment. I recently had another closing where I negotiated the highest concessions possible that my buyers were given money back at closing from their $1000 EMD, costing them less than $1000 to buy a home, which appraised for 10% higher than what my clients purchased the home for. I have many many more. I truly love helping people more than anything and this job allows me to do just that.
