1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
For new home buyers, the most important advice is to get pre-approved for a mortgage before starting your search, thoroughly research the market and neighborhoods, understand your budget, get a home inspection, and consider hiring a real estate agent to guide you through the process; also, be sure to factor in closing costs and save for a substantial down payment or ask your Realtor/ Mortgage Lender about buyer programs.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
When selling your home, the most crucial advice is to hire a trusted and reliable real estate agent who's honest with you and the progress. Clean and declutter your space, set a competitive market price, maximize curb appeal, and present your home with high-quality photos to attract potential buyers; remember to depersonalize your space to allow buyers to envision themselves living there, and be prepared to negotiate during the selling process.

4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I met an older woman who never bought a home and she was looking for the "perfect" home. We took our time because she was getting some family money. The house that didn't look good on the MLS and was about to pass on, turned out to be the perfect setting for her. She and I literally sat outside on the patio chatting about her future and life during the showing for an hour. It was meant to be because we are now friends and she loves her new home.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
In 2007, as a hobby, I began remodeling my own home which sparked an interest in construction. Later, I learned every aspect of building a house to be an "owner- builder", and having two very young children running around a construction zone house.
Then in late 2009, I decided to become an investor / property manager when the market crashed in Northern California. I bought MAJOR fixers to rehabbed and turned into rentals. Since then I managing four personal rental properties. I also manage my own team and mentor new agents.
