Don't waste your time taking a survey of Realtors' opinions on home value. Some agents will promise you the moon just to get the listing, with the expectation that they will ask you for a price reduction when your home doesn't sell. Choose your Realtor based on character and competence, and trust what she has to say about your home's value. In the end, neither you nor I determine the true value of your home. Buyers determine value. I talk straight and will always give you my honest opinion.

I recently listed a 6 bed/4 bath home which was overbuilt for the neighborhood. The sellers heeded my advice to price it slightly under estimated market value and it resulted in multiple overpriced offers within the first 3 days. We closed 21 days later. I was present during buyer inspections to preempt any repair concerns. I enjoyed working with the sellers to stage the home, tend to the property once they vacated, have professional photos taken, hold open houses, and door knock the surrounding area to meet the neighbors.
I joined the real estate industry as a buyer's agent on a top producing team in 2007, just as the housing bubble began to burst. I quickly learned the world of short sales and foreclosures. This experience taught me how to work hard for each transaction at a time when many agents were leaving the industry because they had only experienced a "hot market" where transactions fell in their laps.
I have lived and worked overseas, and am bilingual in English/Spanish. This cultural sensitivity has served me well with my clients. I have completed the National Association of Realtors Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource certification and the rigorous Graduate Realtor Institute certification. I am in good standing with my local Association of Realtors and have served as a Local Director to statewide meetings, allowing me to stay abreast of critical issues affecting the housing industry.
