Michael Powers has been a resident of Hilton Head Island for 44 years and a Realtor since 1999. With an extensive knowledge in Residential/Commercial Real Estate Sales, he has helped more than 2000 families accomplish their dreams of having a home on Hilton Head Island or in Bluffton, and he has closed more than $550 million dollars in sales.

Michael started out in Real Estate as a consumer just shy of 21 years old when he bought his first property in Forest Beach on Hilton Head. He quickly learned that a down payment of 10% of an $87,500 purchase had a strong return over the next 10 years in capital appreciation, rental income and tax deductions. He quickly began to further his education through personal Real Estate purchases, sales and tax-deferred exchanges. Michael now has a very strong understanding of weekly rentals, market swings and momentums, and professional financing options (without having to jump through all the hoops that can often times accompany a real estate purchase).

Through 23 years of establishing strong relationships, Michael has come to know and work with local contractors, builders and handymen whom he trusts to recommend whenever needed.
