ZillowVERIFIED31 March 2018, Mr. Michael Gehring arrived and from our excellent experience in December 2014, we expected to list our property with him again. What a difference three plus years make! Gehring was arrogant, pushy, hurried, cold and nasty, making us feel he did not want to be in our home from the start. He gave his opinion of the area, our property and provided a selling price in literally three minutes. We countered his price based upon our property's location having complete privacy where one can not see any neighbors and vice versa due to our 7-1/2 acres. We stated we had paid $60k more for that privacy and few homes at any price had this privacy. Also, many of his "comps" were in need of repairs. Gehring became very nasty and raised his voice in an arrogant, condescending tone saying we needed an appraisal and when I said I'm not paying for one, he yelled that he would...and what would I do when the appraisal came in too low and banks wouldn't provide a loan. I said there's a $100k difference between the Zillow and Xxxxxxx.com estimates and did not believe there would be a problem. Still in a very nasty and raised voice, Gehring said we could find another salesperson that would list our property and take the time to try to sell it and that he could be with his daughter at an Easter egg hunt instead of being here (in our home) and I told him to leave. He left... From this pathetic experience, I believe Gehring lists as many properties at the lowest price possible, as quickly as possible to maximize profit, again, as quickly as possible and cares nothing about the owners. Upon checking his sales, this opinion bears out, as Gehring represents the seller in the vast majority of those sales. He is not willing to spend any more than a few minutes helping anyone...except himself! Very unprofessional in my opinion, that of my wife AND of a practicing, professional, licensed, Florida real estate broker (not sales associate), that specializes in property management, present in my home at the time!!
