2019 REALTOR of the Year for West Hawaii. I'm very proud to have been chosen as the REALTOR of the Year for West Hawaii, setting me apart from the 830 other agents in our market.

Since 2004 I have served the West Hawaii market, representing both buyers and sellers in their transactions. I feel what sets me apart from my competition is my ability to look at every transaction from both sides. For both buyers and sellers, it's important to understand the motivations for the party on the other side in order to create a contract which will not only meet my clients needs, but will make sure that the other party finds the contract appealing enough to accept and close on the transaction. Oftentimes, price is not the most important factor for the other party, and if their other needs are met, the price for my clients can be very favorable. My experience allows me to alert my clients to under-priced properties (yes, that does happen!) which they may be interested in, when the best course of action is a timely offer to beat the market.

In 2017 I was very proud to be elected by my peers to be President the West Hawaii Association of REALTORS. This is also a testament to my ability to work effectively with other REALTORS in order to help my clients achieve their goals. I also Chair the Government Affairs Committee as we work to increase the voice of property owners and their rights in West Hawaii. I also am one of the very few REALTORS (about 20) in the State of Hawaii to be chosen to serve at the national level. For 2018 I serve on the National Association of REALTORS Member Communications Committee where I chair a work group. In 2019, I will serve on the Resort and Second Home Committee, which will no doubt bring additional knowledge and perspectives to my clients here in Hawaii.
I completed the training to be a Certified Negotiation Expert, which has taken my negotiation skills to the highest level. This skill set is another tool I have to get the result my clients want; not just getting the deal done, but getting the deal you want, done.
