About Mike Delgado
My name is Mike Delgado and I am a real estate agent in Dallas/Fort-Worth and in the greater Austin area. I come from a business development background in luxury settings so I really get to utilize my creativity when it comes to renovations and my numbers focused part of my brain when it comes down to "what do I offer" or "what do we sell for". Over the last three years I have been named one of Dallas' best real estate agents by a predominant magazine and last year took home an award for the Rising Star in Dallas real estate which had me in the top 500 out of 60,000+ agents. All that to say is. I do everything by caring first about the person, and least about the dollar. I know that sometimes there is no getting out of the normal stressors of moving. However, I know that with the proper guidance and information, you CAN be in the know at all times. I love to coach my clients on not just what to do, but why they're doing it. Interview everyone. If you aren't already connected with prior relationships it's always good to know the processes of everyone who will be representing you. Advice is always differing based on the market conditions. As the market changes, so do your steps to obtaining a home. That's why its important you have an agent who is knowledgeable to get you through.
Interview everyone. Don't just look at the number the agent tells you they want to list for, ask them how they came up with that number and have them show you the data. I can tell you I want to sell the home for the highest amount, but data typically wins in the end.
I have worked with first time home buyers, folks looking to downsize, upsize, relocation clients, vacation homes, people looking to renovate the entire home, etc.
I love teaching. My favorite thing to do is MY JOB. I don't expect anyone to be intimately aware of the process. I sell more homes in one month than most people live in during their lives so I really enjoy explaining to people the why behind the action.
I got started when I was working in a luxury business development setting. I was away from home more than I wanted and knew I had what it took to build a business for me.
