Mike currently resides in the recently developed Crown community in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He enjoys volunteering in his community and is a frequent sponsor of neighborhood and local school events.
His philanthropic spirit extends to his alma mater, Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in 1996. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Tech Athletic Fund and as Vice-President of the Maryland Hokie Club.
