ZillowVERIFIEDOne of the hardest days of your life is losing a parent. After the initial shock of their passing comes the realization that you're going to have to deal with all of their stuff. And if they don't have a will or trust, that situation can become overwhelming. As a realtor that specializes in helping people that have lost a parent or a loved one to help sell their home, Michael and his team are outstanding. From the initial phone call, which I'm sure from his point of view has to be a very difficult call to make, to approach me, someone he doesn't know, about the death of my mother and the status of her home, Michael was nothing but compassionate and understanding. We really didn't even talk about selling her home, we just talked about life in general. Now, I'm sure just about everyone's initial reaction when getting a call like that, out of the blue, is a bit shocking. I mean, being approached by someone you don't know to talk about their interest in helping you sell the family home seems somewhat obtrusive. But not ever having been through something like this in your life, you really don't know anything about what to do. I sure didn't know what to do or who to contact. So Michael's phone call actually helped me to move forward. I'm sure some people react very defensively and get upset when someone approaches them in this manner, but Michael's demeanor diffused that feeling with me immediately. I told him I wasn't prepared to speak about it yet, as the courts had not made a decision on who would be handling her property and that I was waiting for a decision. He was understanding and said he would check back in a couple of months to see if his services might be needed. Once the court granted me the position of administrator of my mother's estate, my first call was to Michael. And although I had received dozens of phone calls in the months following my mother's death and Michael's call, he stood out to me as someone I felt I could trust because of the compassion he initially presented. And after our initial in person meeting that feeling of trust was even greater. I followed his suggestions on how we should sell the home how much we should list for the home and when we should put it on the market. Everything went perfectly. I do not live in the same city as my mom did but that was not a necessity as he and his team took care of all the particulars, answered all my questions and kept me apprised every step of the way. The house was on the market only four days before we sold it and it closed without a hitch! I couldn't be more satisfied with Michael and his entire team! Thank you Michael!
