We met with three agents from different agencies to find the right fit for us in selling our home. My wife was leaning towards another agent but I convinced her to go with Michael. I felt that his experience as a contractor might be beneficial in selling the strong points of our home which included many major updates. We were in the position of trying to minimize our loss since family medical concerns had us returning to WA after only 1 1/2 years in the home. We had invested nearly $80k in upgrades and obviously had no equity at this point. Michael understood our position and mentioned the possibility of working with a smaller commission to help. This didn't happen and wasn't even considered after we signed the listing agreement. We really felt we might get a nice little surprise at closing, but nope. My wife even designed professional quality (she has graphic design and professional photography experience) flyers that were used. We did get a thank you text however. Positives: We listed higher with Michael than the other agents felt we could. So ultimately we ended up with as much or a bit more than we would have if listing with other agents, who agreed to reduce commission. We still lost money overall. Negatives: We simply felt Michael was perhaps too busy with his other businesses to effectively communicate with us. One Saturday morning, shortly after listing, we received a text from Michael at 8 am requesting information for a potential buyer. We quickly replied and waited for a response. Nothing. After several hours I called and basically got chastised for bothering him during family time. Wow. I understand family is very important. So is selling my home, and if I'm asked for info on a Saturday morning I feel it's ok to follow up on a Saturday. We also had several instances where the company email system/computers or whatever else they use failed to send us responses, emails, forms, etc. We just felt there were too many excuses for lack of follow-up/ follow-through. The photographer that took our house photos didn't have the correct work order since she was not going to use the drone or take pictures of the crawl space encapsulation work we had done. It was good that I was there to request these services. Michael seems like a nice guy, and I wish I had a better overall experience.

Very satisfied with the selling of my mother's house. Michael and his team are very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and professional. He always gave me feedback on showings. I appreciated that he never pressured me to lower the price but was always available to give me advice on what to do to make the sell happen. His initial selling price was the price that sold the house so he is very in tune to the local markets. His staff was always professional and helpful.Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Michael Walker Realty and would definitely use them again.

Michael Walker is a very professional and honest Real Estate agent. I contacted Michael and explained that my wife has medical issues and we needed to sell our split foyer and buy a single level home to make it easier for her. Michael helped us by putting our house on the market and he found a buyer in just three or four days. He helped us sell our home at a good price and found us a great single level home in another nice neighborhood.
