I interviewed Michael Tavernise, as well as agents from two other companies, in April 2021. In July 2022, when my wife and I were finished taking turns getting cold feet about selling our home, we called Michael. He explained his suggested pricing of our house, and outlined the steps we should take (mainly de-cluttering) and not take (cosmetic repairs) before our house could be shown. The house was finally ready to be photographed the last week of August 2022. Michael worked with the photographer, moving furniture around to show our house to its best advantage. After two days of private viewings and a weekend open house, we had twenty offers at or above the asking price. Michael carefully vetted the potential buyers, and we accepted an offer 12% above our asking price. Inspection was a few days later, and our closing went smoothly just two months after the house was first shown. I attribute the painlessness of our house selling to Michael's dedication to his clients, and his attention to detail. We probably weren't the easiest clients to have-among other things we were first time sellers-but Michael consistently showed compassion and grace. I can unequivocally recommend Michael Tavernise as a sellers' agent.
