Michael Riese

Michael joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Silicon Valley's top producing Real Estate office, in 2016 after spending close to five years as a top producing Broker Associate at Sereno Group. A second-generation real estate broker with wide-ranging real estate experience, Michael has spent close to two decades focused on luxury real estate sales and development throughout California.

Michael's skill for deal-making and problem-solving have made him a sought after resource for buyers and sellers. He prides himself on forging long-term relationships with his clients and having purchased and rehabilitated several properties himself, provides unparalleled leadership in determining investment strategies, identifying opportunities, and negotiating transactions. With major accomplishments in all areas of real estate and his use of current and cutting edge technology, Michael is a go-to broker for the most demanding clientele, and has made him a sought after speaker at industry events including, most recently, RealTechSF.

A graduate of two prominent Silcon Valley Jesuit institutions, Bellarmine College Preparatory and Santa Clara University, Michael's career includes a background in corporate law and business development, working with a prominent Silicon Valley law firm and leading tech company. Michael resides in Los Gatos with his wife, their kids (a Jedi and two Princesses in training), and their faithful German Shepherd.

Michael has sourced land development and acquisitions including residential high-rises, big-box retail, and retail adaptive reuse in excess of $500M, and is consistently ranked amongst the top of Bay Area real estate professionals.
