My husband and I had a great experience working with Mike to sell our condo in Wooster Square - a beautiful but unusual apartment that would only work for a limited pool of buyers. We were drawn to Mike because of his familiarity with New Haven real estate and also because of his many positive reviews. Mike was communicative, professional, flexible, and honest, and he was generally just a pleasant person to interact with. He was open to our input in determining when to list and how much to list for. When complications arose, Mike explained them to us clearly and then worked quickly to find solutions. We felt we were in very capable hands: with Mike, no obstacle was unsurmountable. Most importantly, we felt like Mike was advocating for us and our interests first and foremost. We ultimately received multiple offers and accepted one within ~a week of listing. It was an unusual transaction that Mike handled gracefully and cheerfully. We also got to work with Mike a bit on the buyer side, and found him to be equally steady. When we first contacted him, we were not sure whether our jobs would allow us to stay in CT or require us to move out of state. Mike took our uncertainty in stride. When a house came on the market in the New Haven area that we were interested in, Mike got us a showing right away and spent a great deal of time at the house with us. He made every effort to get us appointments when we requested them, and was extremely gracious when we told him we had decided to move out of state. We flip-flopped once again when we fell in love with a Woodbridge house we visited on a whim, and Mike gave us lots of helpful advice without being pushy. Our jobs ultimately pulled us out of state so we did not end up buying with Mike, but we would not hesitate to recommend him if you are buying or selling in the New Haven area!

Mike is the best realtor Ive had the chance of working with. When we moved to New Haven, we were looking for our first home. We shopped around, interviewing a number of other realtors until we found one we thought was a good fit. Unfortunately, we were wrong. After seeing dozens and dozens of homes that didnt meet the requirements we were looking for, we went searching for someone new. Thats when we found Mike. From the very first home we went to see together, he started teaching more about what we should be looking for in a home. He pointed out the dry rot I hadnt noticed, some problems with the landscaping, and educated me on how the price of the home we were looking at was probably too high given the market at that time. That last point meant a lot, as the lower the price, the lower a realtors commission. Immediately after this experience, Mike found another home. One that was less expensive, but packed with more of the features and amenities we were looking for. He did extra digging to help us understand that this new property was actually a deal, and we ended up living there for 4 years! At the end of that 4 years, we were looking to sell and went with Mike again. He helped us formulate our price, advised on improvements we could make, and took care of all the other listing details. He then guided a novice realtor on the other side of the agreement through a challenging leasing process, set of rejections, and loan approvals. All of this ended up clearing the way for the deal to go through. The sale was a huge win-win for us and the first time homeowner who was able to land their dream home. Were now looking to buy our next home and while Ive gotten to work with other realtors, the ease of working with Mike still sticks with us. He is the standard by which we measure other real estate agents. Ive learned that experience in a realtor is one of the two most important things you can look for. Mike has it in spades. But more importantly, you want a realtor with integrity. Mike is honest, caring, and created an incredible outcome not just for my family, but for the next one that ended up living in the house we sold. I couldnt recommend him more!

Mike is an amazing realtor. Highly recommend. He always went above and beyond what was asked for. He was even helping the realtors for the buyers who had less experience than him. Mike is an outstanding realtor. We bought our home (foreclosure) in CT with him in 2018 & worked with him to sell the same home 4 yrs later. He is prompt with communication, extremely knowledgeable about the area & the market, professional, a great negotiator & realistic. His photographer is also top notch. Every seller pays their agent the same % of profit, why not use the best? We accepted an offer within days of listing and it took almost 60 days to close. Mike handled the transaction with patience and diligence. I cannot say enough about Mike. I would HIGHLY recommend him to a buyer or seller. Selling our CT was our 7th real estate transaction and he is by far, THE BEST!
