About Michael Lohrenz
Michael Lohrenz is a REALTOR® with Real Brokerage, proudly serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding Pikes Peak region. A U.S. Army veteran with more than two decades of service, Michael brings the discipline, leadership, and commitment honed in uniform to his real estate career. Licensed in Colorado, he works with clients across the entire city, but spends most of his time on the northeast side of the city, including Banning Lewis, Wolf Ranch, Cordera, and Stetson Hills. Michael's specialty is serving those who share experiences he knows firsthand--military families navigating PCS moves, veterans using VA benefits, first-time buyers making the leap into homeownership, and investors building long-term security. His mission is to represent every client with the same integrity and dedication he gave his soldiers, ensuring they are protected, informed, and empowered throughout the process. While new to the industry, Michael has already successfully guided clients through transactions, earning praise for his communication and attention to detail. With a strong foundation built on trust, service, and a deep understanding of relocation challenges, he is quickly establishing himself as a reliable advocate for Colorado Springs buyers and sellers.

FAQ
Get pre-approved before you start shopping so you know exactly what you can afford, and be clear about your must-haves versus nice-to-haves. In a competitive market like Colorado Springs, moving quickly and having a strong offer makes a big difference. And just as important—work with an agent you trust to explain the process and protect your interests along the way.
Focus on presentation and pricing. A well-priced home that’s clean, decluttered, and shows its best features will attract the most buyers quickly. I tell sellers to think like a buyer: would you be excited to walk into this home? With the right preparation and a strong marketing plan, your home will stand out in Colorado Springs’ competitive market.
I’ve worked with first-time buyers navigating the process for the very first time and military families using VA loans during a PCS move. Because I’ve been in those situations myself, I understand the stress and the details involved—and I make sure my clients are supported every step of the way.
One of my favorite experiences so far was helping a second time buyer purchase their home in Colorado Springs. They were nervous about the process, but by breaking it down step by step and communicating clearly, we got them to the closing table smoothly. The best part was seeing them walk into their new home for the first time knowing it was theirs.
After more than 20 years in the U.S. Army, I wanted a career where I could keep serving others and put my discipline and attention to detail to good use. Real estate was a natural fit—I’ve personally navigated relocations, VA loans, and investing, so now I help clients through those same milestones.
Beyond my military leadership training, I am a licensed REALTOR® with Real Brokerage and continuously learning the Colorado Springs market. My background gives me a unique edge in handling relocation challenges, negotiating under pressure, and ensuring every detail is covered so clients can move with confidence.
