As a first time home buyer, Mike was the best realtor that my fiance and I could have asked for. When we first started our search, we let Zillow assign us a random realtor, and thought that person was doing a pretty good job...until we met Mike. I'll go into detail below, but long story short, whether it's your first home or your fourth, Mike is your guy.For starters, you'll never feel pressured into buying anything with Mike. He understands how large of a decision this is, and never once pushed us towards making an offer (whereas our other realtor's only question was, "So, are you thinking of making an offer" immediately after the showing). He asks the right questions to get a feel for what you like about the house and what you don't like, so that he can better understand what you're looking for. It's quite refreshing to know you truly have another member of your buying team.Another added bonus that you won't get with other realtors is Mike's eye for details. He has a background in doing extensive home repairs/remodeling, and will spot things that you may not have a clue from as a new buyer relying solely on too much HGTV. We had one house where he was able to point out where walls used to be and another with very faints signs on the ceiling that could have signaled a leak. He isn't afraid to call it out so that you know exactly what you're looking at. In terms of responsiveness, you'll always be able to reach Mike. He would frequently send us listings that he felt may match our tastes, and was always receptive to feedback. I felt like we were pretty picky, but Mike never once gave us a hard time about that. He listens and responds in a timely manner. You'll never have to worry about missing out on anything with him as your realtor.Finally, in terms of the actual buying process, he is second to none. We made a total of three offers (and looked at many more homes) before landing on our new home. Before the first offer, we were terrified. Mike walked us step by step through the contract so that there were no surprises, and kept us updated on how the process was going. When we finally had the great news that the offer was accepted, Mike was with us every step of the way and helping us stay on track with all of the responsibilities that the buyers have.We truly could not have asked for a better realtor than Mike.
