I dont think there are enough words to describe how amazing my experience with Melissa was.... we found ourselves in a tough spot and needing to pursue a short sale of our home after we had already moved out of state. We had a difficult (putting it mildly) tenant in the home and Melissa helped us navigate everything, she handled the tenant which was not onlya ton of work but completely outside of the standard services a realtor would normally provide, she coordinated with the lawyers (often times making suggestions or asking things they hadnt thought of), she taught us what questions we needed to be asking and was always looking out for us...she is so incredibly knowledgeable about the process and it was beyond reassuring having her on our side, especially when it got stressful and scary she always knew what the next steps were and what to say to keep us positive and moving forward. I have never worked with a realtor who I felt so sincerely cared about us and the outcome and wanted to help, she wasnt just in it for a commission and the proof of that was that I found out very late in the process that apparently her commission had been cut by the bank/lawyers and she didnt even feel the need to mention it to us along the way, she just kept working her butt off to get the deal done for us. I could keep going but frankly there are not enough stars available on Zillow for Melissa. You will not regret working with her, I can say that with 100% confidence. Thank you so much for everything Melissa!!! Our family will never forget what you did for us

My mother is a senior and could no longer keep up with her home, I wanted her to move near me in Florida. My mom had no family left in IL and she was afraid to sell her home. I needed someone who would take care of my mom, help her through the sale, and most of all care about the person (my mom). From the first conversation I had with Melissa I knew she was the person who could help my mother. My mother lived in her home for 30 years and did not want to part with it, so I knew Melissa had her work cut out for her. Melissa did it! :). Words cannot express how much I appreciated Melissa for all she did for my mother. Thank you!

Melissa helped me buy my first home in 2010, and we had the best experience with her then. So, when it came time to sell my home to move into something bigger, there was nobody else I would rather have help me. Melissa responded quickly and arranged for a photographer to come as soon as possible. Every time my husband and I needed something, she contacted the necessary people and got back to us right away. When we ran into some snags with things needing to be fixed on the house, she knew exactly what to do and who to contact. Melissas persistence is what made me ask for her help in selling my home. When it seemed like there was no communication, or mixed communication from the buyers, she never let up in making sure we were moving along in the process to have everything ready for closing. She is fearless in asking the tough questions and making sure people are doing their job to make the sale work for all parties involved. I am very pleased with the hard work that Melissa put into helping me sell my home and believe she went way above and beyond for me. If anybody asks me for the name of a good realtor, without a doubt, Melissa would be the only person I would recommend.
