When my mother died, we soon realized that we would need to sell her home in El Cerrito and that there was a huge amount of work to do: emptying the house, including selling, donating and hauling and deciding what would be cost effective to do to fix up the house for sale. We were faced with finding contractors in an area we didnt live in anymore and many other issues. All this in an emotionally fraught time. I am so glad we called Maya Arechiga early in the process. We had intended to bring in a realtor at some point, but my sister-in-law suggested we get someones opinion on what to do in the house early on. Maya knew just what to do with the house considering our budget and got our approval for every expense. She knows so many people! She knew a wonderful estate-sale person who set up an estate sale for us (pro-tip: dont take stuff to Goodwill until after the estate sale) and has relationships with many contractors who have worked with her on previous projects. If she did not have a contractor that she knew for a specific job, she lined up several for us to meet and chose from. Though not a general contractor (she doesnt handle the money), she was with us every step of the way and helped us find solutions to every problem that came up. She is very professional and experienced aEUR" just what we needed. Ultimately our house sold for much more than we expected. There were several bids and the high bidder was a family that I'm sure will enjoy the house for many years to come. I recommend Maya highly, she is energetic, responsible and relatable.

Maya Arechiga is an amazing realtor who exceeded our expectations in every way. Shes very organized, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, talented, and more! My husband and I used her to sell my late parents home. We live out of state in Pennsylvania and she made the process so much simpler than I wouldve ever imagined due to her always going above and beyond and proving her superior expertise and resources to us. Maya was incredible! We needed to sell my mother-in-law's home and we did not live in the area. She helped us every step of the way. She put us in touch with someone that could do the Estate sale and clean up afterwards. She helped with everything, even assisting with mail that was still coming to the house. Considering the engineering issues with the foundation she was able to get us a great price (better than we expected). Anything we needed she was right there to help us. I would highly recommend Maya!
