I've worked with many Buyers who are choosing a second home in South Florida, as well as Buyers who are moving into the area full-time and need a new primary residence. Sellers who are relocating.
I worked with a couple from Minnesota who desperately wanted to escape the winter cold. Unfortunately the condo market was very tight and it took us over 2 years to find the perfect place. We did a lot of video tours, as they were often not in the area to view properties in person. I have lots of patience working with buyers! We all enjoyed working together and it was terrific to have a successful closing at last!
Well....funny story - I was on the TV game show "Wheel of Fortune" and a realtor friend saw me on the show and we started looking at properties. She loved the business and I decided to get my real estate license and work with her.
I often say that real estate requires "match-making", finding the property that fits! It also requires a lot of communication with buyers and helping buyers to communicate among themselves. My degree in Psychology often helps! I also have a JD and, although I'm not a practicing attorney and cannot give legal advice, my background helps me to review documents and be very detail-oriented.
