We were able to negotiate the price down to assist us in the updates it required. Maureen helped us through that process and we were able to achieve the pricepoint we went in at after a couple rounds of discussions. ZillowVERIFIEDWe met Maureen when we made the decision to retire to Hilton Head South Carolina from Maryland. We explained to Maureen what our expectations were for retiring here -- smaller home, things to do, friendly neighbors and in reasonable proximity to the beach. The first time we met with her, she gave us a tour of the area and we looked at homes in different neighborhoods of the Bluffton area. She was very knowledgeable of the area and pointed out pros and cons of the neighborhood and the houses we looked at. After researching Sun City, we decided that's where we wanted to be. Maureen connected us to her website and would send us pictures and information on houses that fit our criteria. We then made another trip to Bluffton and Maureen had scheduled several houses for us to look at. When we finally found the house we wanted, she started the necessary paperwork, connected us to finance people and a lawyer for the closing. She kept us informed each step of the way. She was always professional, respectful and very patient with us along the way, especially since we were dealing with a difficult seller. Since we were moving to SC from MD, Maureen was very helpful in putting us in touch with insurance companies, cable providers, electric company, etc. We settled on our house the end of May 2015 and Maureen has continued to keep in touch with us. She is a down-to-earth, friendly, helpful person, and, someone we hope we'll be friends with for a long time. We highly recommend her whether you're buying or selling -- you won't be disappointed.
