About Matthew Johnson

Matthew is a Broker Associate with Leland Realty, Inc and has been professionally serving his clients since 2005 and is an expert in the residential housing market. He has received awards for reaching the Executive Club with RE/MAX for outstanding sales achievements in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2010 along with the 100% club in 2009. Matthew also received recognition's for his contributions to the Children's Miracle Network in 2007 through 2012. He is a member of the MLS in the area and also a Realtor. He uses his expert knowledge to help home sellers to market their home for the best results. Matthew has received his CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) so he can work closely with sellers who are facing the possibility of have their home being foreclosed on. He is able able to show them that there is light at the end of the tunnel. He also help buyers of all kinds with the purchase of the home and real estate. Matthew helps buyers with the complete buying process; from helping them find a mortgage lender all the way to receiving a clear title to their new home with a title company. Matthew has lived in the Albert Lea community for over 40 years and is currently raising his family here. In his off time he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, boating, and riding motorcycle.

Matt assisted my siblings and I in the sale of our parents home. There were extra layers to the sale due to a life estate and multiple owners. I didn't have the biggest budget for buying a house but Matt still responded to me right away, and showed me every house I asked too see. What I like most about Matt is he is very out-going, funny, and straight forward. He did not beat around the bush with me. He did not seem like he was there 'Just for the sale'. He was upfront and honest with the pros and cons of each house. If you like a straight forward honest person Matt is your guy.
