Matt Vance and his wife, JoBeth Vance, are proud alumni of Texas Tech University who returned to Lubbock to raise their family and build their business in the West Texas community they love. Together they are raising their two sons, Sterling and Stetson, grounded in the same strong West Texas values that shaped their own lives.

After earning his MBA in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Matt felt called back to West Texas where he founded Matt Vance Homes with a clear mission: to build high-quality custom homes defined by exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and long-term durability.

Matt is an active leader in the Texas home building industry. He has served multiple years on the Board of Directors for the West Texas Home Builders Association and as a voting delegate for the Texas Association of Builders. He currently serves on the WTHBA Executive Board as Treasurer and on the TAB Finance Committee. His leadership has earned him the association's "Rising Star" Award, and he served as Chairman of the 2025 Parade of Homes, where he also built two featured showcase homes.

In addition to leading Matt Vance Homes, Matt is co-owner of Platinum Homes with Robert Wood and a REALTOR(R) with the Stacey Rogers Group at Keller Williams Realty in Lubbock, Texas. His background combines financial expertise, entrepreneurial leadership, and hands-on construction experience, allowing him to successfully manage and scale multiple real estate and homebuilding ventures.

Matt's passion for construction began early, working alongside his father as an electrician, where he developed a deep understanding of the building process from the ground up.

Today he is known for guiding each project from concept to completion-helping clients bring their vision to life while maintaining uncompromising standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Matt is supported by the creative expertise of Ellen Wallace, who collaborates closely with him to develop innovative architectural concepts, curate refined interior selections, and elevate the design aesthetic of every home.

Through Matt Vance Homes, Matt primarily builds custom homes in the communities of:

• Lubbock - including neighborhoods in Lubbock-Cooper Independent School District, Lubbock High School ISD
• Wolfforth - within Frenship Independent School District
• New Home - within New Home Independent School District
