Real estate isn't just about the houses, it's about the people and families of the houses. Every single situation is different and has a different impact on that families life. Recently I represented the sweetest 80 year old seller and buyer whos husband of 60+ years passed away. She was selling her condo to purchase another unit in Delray Beach. In order to do this we had to coordinate all of the moving parts for 3 different transactions which wasn't easy with all of the different people and emotions involved. We hit a few small speed bumps but were able to make it happen for all of the parties involved. She baked me a banana bread loaf after and we are still friends and talk on a regular basis.
My family has been in the real estate business for over 40 years now. So I grew up around it and listened to all the dinner conversations about it growing up. My life led me on a different path which I am most grateful of, but one day I was just talking to my mom and told her that I want to quit my regular job to do real estate. I honestly love it and wish I had made the move way earlier than I did. I immediately fell in love with helping people navigate through one of the most important purchase/sale of their lives. I love marketing and negotiating the sale of real estate at the highest level.
