Of course, the home kind of sold itself, but the generosity and the kindness that he did, to make sure the home did well. Checking in on the home. I would highly recommend Matt Christie to others who are looking for a new home and/or ready to sell a current home. We worked with Matt for both purchasing our new home and selling our former home. In a very difficult market post-COVID, we worked with Matt for more than a year and through several offers. During our house-hunting phase, Matt was always quick to communicate with us if he saw a house come to market that he thought we might like (and after having worked with us for so long, he was very in tune with this). Likewise, he was very responsive when we requested a showing and oftentimes would secure a showing for us the very same day. Matt is extremely knowledgeable regarding real estate and the Granby area community in general and was often able to offer us important information that not every agent would have known about neighborhoods and past ownerships of the homes. Additionally, Matt always familiarized himself with the property records prior to our showings (or if he wasn't able to, he would review the records immediately after and let us know if there was anything of potential concern or interest). We have worked with other agents in the past who seem to push to make any sale. However, when working with Matt, he seemed interested in helping us find the right home, no matter how long that took. When it came time to make an offer, Matt was always in close contact with us, guiding us through every step of the way. As we worked with Matt long-term, there were a couple times that he was out of town during a crucial time, and even so he remained in contact with us to make sure necessary documents were signed and delivered on time, and everything continued as it should. As for the sale of our former home, Matt was extremely meticulous in his instructions for us to ready our home. We were surprised at some of the requests, but as we trusted Matt's knowledge and expertise, we followed instructions and it paid off. Our home had several offers within a weekend and sold for much over our asking price. I hope to not have to search for another home anytime soon, but if we did, we most certainly would choose Matt again.
