Mary Worth

With roots long and deep, connecting her to Penn Yan, Hammondsport and all things Keuka Lake, Mary Worth can't wait to bring people home to this wonderful location. Mary was born and raised on Keuka Lake and then in the Village of Penn Yan, giving her the best of all worlds. Raising two daughters in Connecticut, Pittsford and New York City, summers on Keuka Lake brought the balance they all loved. After launching children, she went on to live in Boston, New Jersey, Ft. Lauderdale, and finally, permanently, Keuka Lake. "Trust me, I know what it means to move a family. We have been fortunate enough to live in some wonderful places, but it is always such a relief to come home to the Finger Lakes. There's no place like it on earth" said Mary. "We have bought and sold and rented more homes than most. No wonder real estate is my passion!" Mary has run a successful rental business on Keuka Lake and has loved bringing people 'home' to the lake. Becoming a Realtor allows her to do this in a more permanent venue. Mary began her career in Broadcasting working for the CBS News Division in the Broadcast Center on West 57th Street in New York City. She later went on to become a writer, reporter, producer, and eventually, news and programming promotion manager. While raising children, Mary was involved in Girl Scouts, tutoring in the inner city, religious education, PR for St. Louis School in Pittsford and freelance media projects for the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation. She is a lover of all things outdoors, 4 seasons a year. (As long as it's above 20 degrees).
