1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Make sure you use a seasoned FULL-TIME REAL ESTATE Agent (Realtor). Someone with good reviews and a track record of transactions. When interviewing a REALTOR ask about their experience in the market place, how long have they been in business, volume of closings. Also get pre-approved prior to writing offers. It is important to get your debt to income ratio and max/min purchase price before you spin your wheels.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Ask for statistical analysis. Many REALTORS go to an interview shooting darts. The good ones already have a comprehensive report that can tell you your average days on the market, your SOLD VS LIST price, as well as tips on staging. Also ask about marketing and counter offer scenarios from Real Estate agents. Insure you are working with someone from the area or zip code in order to get the best results and no hidden surprises at the closing table.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Investors, 1st time home buyers, snow birds, second home owners, contingent buyers, contingent sellers, dual agency scenarios.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I was a dual agent on a home that was listed for $305,000. I was able to reduce my professional fee by $5000.00 to get the deal to close! Putting the buyers and sellers since 1999!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Licenced in 1999. I worked in a retail housing neighborhood. It was fun but you only sold 5 types of floor plans. After 6 years in the industry I wanted to give a service to the sellers as well, so I became a REALTOR. Creating relationships in the reason for the job!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
