1- Leave the utilities on. It makes for a more comfortable showing, makes you not look hard pressed for money to potential buyers & you'll need to turn them on for the buyer's home inspections anyways. 2- Get rid of or box up all unnecessary personal items & small decorative pieces. The less your things occupy the space, the more buyers see themselves in the home. Plus, it's less you'll need to pack once we bring you an offer. 3- Do a deep cleaning if possible before it hits the market. 4- Do your best to eliminate or cover animal odors. This can be a huge turn off to buyers without house pets.
