Marissa Corbo

Marissa Corbo relocated to the Treasure Coast in 1981 from New Jersey. Her real estate career started in 2001 were she work as an assistant learning the ropes of the industry. In 2003, Marissa acquired her sales associate's license and became a buyer's agent for a multimillion dollar top producer at a local RE/MAX office. In 2008 Marissa found her home with a local, high energy, boutique firm called Water Pointe Realty Group. She is truly grateful and blessed to be a part of the Water Pointe Family. Most recently, in 2015 she acquired her Broker Associate license. Education is extremely important to Marissa. She currently holds four (4) industry recognized designations: Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) - a benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational & practical experience criteria. Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) - for agents who have a thorough understanding of complex issues in the real estate industry and knowledge of foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) - members make up the top 3 percent of residential REALTORS®. Real estate agents who have earned the prestigious CRS Designation are recognized as the best-of-the-best in the industry - generating twice the income and number of transactions than the average REALTOR® Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) - the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. Because the market is always changing, in 2009 Marissa started educating herself in the Distressed Property Market which over the years has lead her to work with some of the largest bank & asset companies as a Distressed Property Listing Agent.
