Every seller feels their house is better than similar homes in the area. Have your realtor show you stats on what similar properties are going for. Have your house ready to show, plenty of light and totally staged.

I've worked with first time buyers just starting out, married couples that have specific wants and needs, buyers relocating into a new area and buyers that just want a roof over their head.

I believe it was my recent sale. I was working with a couple that was buying a condo for his mom. He had limited funds but it was extremely important to him that his mom lived somewhere she would be happy and safe. I found them a condo closed to transportation, shopping, some relative close by and she loved her new place. Once they closed he did some light renovations to bring it up to his standards. That's what I call love for your mother!

My son was born with medical issues which prevented from leaving the house. During that time I educated myself in real estate, got my license and started working at home for someone qualifying leads. Once my children were in school I started working for a real estate firm.

I'm always taking classes to benefit buyers as well as sellers. I've been certified as a relocation and buyer specialist. I have won awards and trips based on productivity.
