I formally began my residential real estate career in the summer of 2007. I am a member of RE/MAX Home Team, in Uncasville, CT. Always eager to advance myself, I have been able to further expand my knowledge of the real estate needs of both Northeast Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maria was honored to receive the Five Star Award in 2011 from CT Magazine and has been nominated for the 2013 award. Nominees are selected by both area buyers and sellers, which speaks highly of her integrity and work ethic. Maria always gives both sellers and buyers her best. She was born in Portugal and is fluent in Portuguese. She also lived briefly in Ontario before settling in Rhode Island. In the mid 1980's she obtained a full-time position as a high school American Government teacher here in Connecticut's "Quiet Corner", where she is still employed. She and her husband David loved the area so much, that they and their two children purchased their home in the Dayville area.
