Marcia Cullinan

Marcia has been enjoying and living the salt-life in sunny southwest Florida since 2004. She and her family moved here from Philadelphia just a few months prior to Hurricane Charley, which was a windy welcome to paradise, but they have not looked back! Marcia lives along the Myakka River in the boating-community of Gulf Cove with her husband, son and two dogs. Before moving to Gulf Cove they spent seven years living in and enjoying the ever-popular neighborhood of Rotonda. Marcia was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Upon graduating from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education she moved to the Philadelphia area where for thirteen years she worked in the non-profit arena with children and adults with physical and mental disabilities. Marcia continued that non-profit focus when she and her family moved to Florida's Gulf Coast in 2004, where she was the Executive Director of the Tri-County Area American Cancer Society. During that time, while the real estate market started to boom, she was recruited by one of her Board members into Banking. Following almost a decade in the mortgage industry - much of that time as vice president of residential lending at a local Bank - Marcia decided that her skills, knowledge and ability to connect with people matched perfectly with a career as a Realtor. Her tenure in the lending industry gives Marcia an unparalleled understanding of the intricacies of real estate, allowing her to ensure the smoothest road possible to a successful closing - whether buying or selling. She is passionate about enriching the community through local organizations, including her tenure as President of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. She is also on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Charlotte County, and Treasurer for the Vote Yes For Success! campaign for the Charlotte County School System. Outside of real estate, Marcia enjoys an active lifestyle filled with boating, fishing, walking her dogs and spending time with her family. And when it's time for college football season, she can be found cheering for the Michigan Wolverines. Marcia has sold over 50 million dollars in residential real estate in Charlotte and Sarasota Counties over the past 5 years. She loves what she does and is happy to assist you reach your goal in whatever way she can.
