    About Maggie Kalin

As your realtor, my mission is to make your home-buying or selling adventure as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. With my insider knowledge of the Omaha metro area and a sense of humor to keep things light, I'm here to help you navigate the housing market without losing your sanity. Let's find you a home that's just as unique and wonderful as you are.

    OTHER LANGUAGES
    English
    Community Involvement
I volunteer with the Historic Society of Pottawattamie County, helping run tours of historic properties--basically, I get to nerd out about history and architecture and share it with anyone who'll listen. I also support Firefly by helping with local events and pitching in on office tasks whenever needed.
    HOBBIES/INTEREST
When I'm not helping people find their dream homes, you'll likely find me battling weeds in my garden or perusing a local plant nursery. If you need tomatoes in August, I've got you. I love exploring all the amazing local events we have available in the area. If there is a festival, fair, or local market, I'm likely to be there. I'm all about soaking up all the amazing food, art, and entertainment the Omaha area has to offer.
    FAMILY
I live with my wonderful spouse and our two mischievous dogs-Frankie, a miniature schnauzer with a big personality, and Margo, a Scottish terrier who thinks she runs the place (and she might be right).

    Answered Questions

Brick or siding for my home exterior?

I would keep the brick, You could explore staining the brick if it really looks that bad but overall people and appraisers like brick because it is lower maintenance and more durable than other exterior materials. Also, covered brick can indicate covering a problem and there is no easy way for a buyer to check if there are cracks/repairs needed to the masonry after the siding has been put over it.
