Buying your first home can be overwhelming, and I expected my agent to guide me through the process. Unfortunately, that did not happen. aEURc I found the property I purchased myself aEUR" she did not provide meaningful assistance in searching for or recommending homes. aEURc She gave almost no explanation of important documents, contracts, or deadlines. At one point, her only comment on the purchase agreement was that it aEURoelooked good,aEUR? without further detail. aEURc She did not walk me through the steps of the process (such as inspections, financing timelines, or contingencies), leaving me unsure and anxious about what to do next. aEURc Communication was poor. She rarely checked in, did not keep me updated, and made me feel like I was going through the process alone. aEURc Even after closing, she did not call, congratulate me, or offer any follow-up aEUR" something I would expect as basic professionalism. Overall, I felt unsupported, uninformed, and disappointed throughout the entire process. For a first-time homebuyer, this lack of effort and guidance was unacceptable. Despite doing the bare minimum, she still collected a full commission. I would not recommend this agent to anyone who wants an advocate that is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
