Steve and I, together, have over 37 years of experience in the real estate industry. Steve was the Broker/Owner of his own real estate firm in Geneva, Illinois and focused on investment and commercial real estate and I specialized in residential real estate. Once our children left home, we started looking for an area that took us away from the Illinois winters and high property taxes. We put together our list of requirements - a variety of outdoor activities, good medical system, colleges nearby, close to a regional airport, and economically viable. After much research we decided to move to the Upstate area of Western South Carolina in the fall of 2015.
