About Lyn Karol

Lyn has lived at Lake Tahoe since 1974. She has resided in Northen Nevada participating in all the out door and recreational activities that make her describe her area as "I live in Heaven, and I did not have to die to get there." She has participated in the creation of a local PBS television station. She served in fund raising, on air productions, and even as President of the organization at one point. She was the founder of the Lake Tahoe Chautauqua, a living history festival that brought scholars acting as historical figures to meet the public and tell of their lives. Among the characters she brought to the community, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Harry Truman, all the members of the Lewis and Clarke Expidition, Eleanor Roosevelt, Dolly Madison, Anne Frank, and many, many more. As a Realtor she has been selling real estate regionally for decades. She has represented hundreds of buyers and sellers over the years. She has been a teacher of real estate, director of a real estate school, and served in many capacities in the local Realtor organizations. Her background includes graduating from U.C.L.A. and attending U.S.C. law school She is a goumet cook, a dedicated reader, and a true friend. She has been a sailor, a skier, a cross country skier, a hiker, a biker, and a bridge champion. She enjoys music, theater, dancing, laughing. Lyn did an amazing job navigating us through the process of purchasing a property in Incline Village. We discovered her a little over a year ago through Zillow. When we first contacted Lyn, we were curious about the market and hopeful to find a property to fit our family. Lyn was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She guided us through our search and helped us hone in on what we really wanted until we found the perfect place for us. Lyn was a terrific partner for us while we looked for and purchased our home. She was very patient with us as we fine-tuned our needs and also gave us very realistic feedback and recommendations. She is very responsive. She has lived in the community a long time, has very deep relationships with people and knows the various real estate related codes. Her network became our network with great recommendations for all of our related needs like mortgage broker, inspector and people to help us complete projects around the house to address fire code, insurance and inspection issues. She stepped in as a surrogate for us when we had to be out of town which gave us peace of mind. We would work with Lyn again for a purchase or sale.
