The couple was raised in rural Mississippi and Arkansas. They embrace nature and are dedicated to teaching and sharing the country life values to their children, grandchildren and future generations. Active in the community, Liz recently retired as vice president of alumni and parent relations at Harding University. She is president of Creative Group of Arkansas and Greenkeepers Garden Club and serves on Searcy Holiday of Lights and on Searcy's Beautification and Tourism committees. Charlie is a full time real estate agent and retired certified home inspector. He has inspected more than 2,500 homes!
