1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Make sure you get pre approved by a reputable LOCAL lender. I have a couple of lenders who I have been working alongside for over a decade, and I would be happy to put you in touch if you are considering a move. Thats the first step, and the rest of the advice I'd be happy to provide as I guide you smoothly through the process.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
My advise would be to call me today. Once you hire me, I'll provide you with advice on preparing your home for sale, so that it looks its best. I'll hire a professional photographer to take your homes photos at no cost to you. I'll advise you on pricing, and provide you with all of the info you need to achieve top market value for your home. Once we get our buyer, I'll guide you through the process and the many steps of the sales contract. I'll be there every step of the way with attention to detail and take the stress off of you. We'll have a smooth transaction.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I've been a Realtor for over 15 years (almost half of my life). When you do something that long you work with a variety of clients from first time buyers to experienced sellers/buyer relocating, to investors. There is not much I have not seen.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I sold a home for a widowed elderly woman. It was her and her husbands home they raised their children in. Prior to hiring me, she had it listed two terms with two different agents who could not sell it for her and she was discouraged. She took it personal as if her home was not good enough. I helped by making recommendations to spruce it up, had the photos professionally taken, and she took all of my advice. When we sold she cried and gave me the biggest hug. It felt good to help her out and get her to the next chapter of her life.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I liked the idea of being paid to help people out. The real estate business is unique because I'm selling someones biggest asset and biggest liability at the same time. If thats not enough, its also most likely the most emotionally connected tangible item that they own. So its a very big deal to me. Its a very fast paced and rewarding career and I'm fortunate to start young and be peaking at the right time in my life.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
There is no training like hands on training. I have over 15 years in the real estate industry and have handled 100s of successful transactions. I've seen just about every pitfall or scenario you could imagine and have worked hard and gotten my clients through it. An agent can sit through classes for months and have all of these "designations" or "symbols" after their name for completing those courses but if they are not experiencing all of the different situations and scenarios out in the field, that classroom training can only get you so far. Real life experience in real estate sales (like just about any other business) is what I have to offer. My clients benefit from my knowledge and expertise on a daily basis.
