Lenna Doyle

After a career as a zookeeper at the world-famous San Diego Zoo, I switched animals completely in 2005 to work in real estate. Oddly enough, there is a similarity, in that success in both depends on great relationships with those you work with! I specialize in the central and coastal areas of San Diego County and have expertise in all aspects of residential real estate. Having lived in San Diego for the last 40 years and the beach areas for 30, I know San Diego County well. I enjoy the relationships that I develop with my clients very much, and hold communication as having the utmost importance in a real estate transaction. I am thrilled to have received the 5 Star Professional Award for the last several years. The award is based on surveys of San Diego homebuyers who rate their agents on communication, customer service, and overall satisfaction. I am an executive committee member for the newly formed Compass + division, which will bridge the gap between older adults and essential real estate and adjacent services such as home health, move management and estate planning. Having had the responsibility for the care of my wonderful mom, I gained a deeper understanding of the emotional aspects of preparing the "estate" and selling a family home, particularly in the context of seniors and their beneficiaries during life's transitions. Born in Sweden, I stay connected with my membership with the House of Sweden in Balboa Park. I also enjoy my board position with the esteemed La Jolla Woman's Club. We have a very sports minded family, with golf being a big part. With a daughter who is an alumna of the women's golf team at the University of Colorado and a son who played college golf at UC Berkeley, followed by professional golf tours, we are avid fans of the game!
