Lauren's love of old-home charm and fun character started long before entering into real estate. Lauren specializes in working with first-time homebuyers in the Twin Cities area. At the very beginning you are taken on an educational tour to help familiarize yourself with the process and of homes available in your desired location, or to explore locations. From showings to negotiations to closing, Lauren's experience and approach allows first time homebuyers to enjoy the process from start to finish. With a background in property management at a large, multi-family complex, Lauren is extremely familiar with the rental market and uses this knowledge when evaluating and comparing investment properties. My biggest piece of advice is to focus on the location of the home. Where do you spend most of your time outside of work and home? Where do majority of your friends/family live? What is the commute time for you for work? Is walkability important to you?
These are all questions you should ask yourself while beginning the process. After you have narrowed this down, the home search becomes a lot less overwhelming for new home buyers.
I have worked with an array of clients, however I choose to mainly work with First Time Homebuyers. I believe the homebuying process should be fun and exciting. This is a big, amazing decision and I make sure my buyer's always know what they need to know, before they need to know it and enjoy the process as a whole. Buyer's deserve a Realtor who is just as excited as they are for them.
I fell in love with Real Estate at a young age, seeing all the old charm of early 1900s homes and learning about their history. After working at a large 700+ unit rental complex for 2 years I knew that being a Realtor was the career for me. I started working with Fulton Realty in October of 2017 and our mission as a brokerage is firmly based on creating deep, meaningful connections with clients.
