Larry grew up on the island of Oahu in Kailua before attending Portland State University in Oregon where he double majored in Economics and Business Management.

Upon graduating he returned to Honolulu to work as a statistician for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Further developing his career, Larry moved on to work in a number of dynamic and high impact roles including being an opening team member for one of Oahu's largest resorts - the Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, serving his country in a national security role in Washington DC, and most recently leading the acquisition of the iconic Hawaii company - Young Laundry and Dry Cleaning.
